About Beacon Church
Beacon Church is proud to announce our CHRISTMAS SHOE DRIVE to benefit Shoes For All, a local organization that provides shoes for needy families. We are including the whole community in this worthwhile cause. All you have to do is drop off your new or gently-used shoes to either of Beacon's campuses and we will make sure they get on the feet of those in need. You can also bring your shoes to our community CHRISTMAS FEST on Saturday, December 8th at 6:00pm at Beacon's New Hyde Park campus. In 2011, Beacon was excited to hold our first-ever Christmas Shoe Drive! Our congregation invited the entire community to be part of this endeavor, and in total more than 1,650 pairs of shoes were collected! In addition to the shoes, Beacon's congregation also raised funds and donated time in order that the shoes could be sorted and professionally cleaned before being distributed to local Long Island families. The shoes and funds were donated to Shoes For All, a local charity based in Williston Park.Explore more
