Our focus is to insure the safety of your family's legacy by digitizing family photos, slides, negatives and videos to DVD, as well as scanning documents in searchable .pdf (24 languages). We also help with backup of digital files from PCs, cameras and cellphones. We create custom slide shows or power point with your photos. We recently started to... creating keepsake gifts from digitized family photos. How Bayside Digital was established? We were looking for the longest time to get our family's photo and video collection digitized: To access easily the memories we created over our lifetime. I was member of the Camera Club in the 70s at the United Nations. I loved documenting family and other events I attended over the years. I'm now so glad I did save precious moments! To create more room at home, the closets and the storage room, where over 10 shoe boxes full of photos, plus three xerox boxes full of photos and VHS tapes. Not to mention about 15 photo albums!! Besides taking up so much space, they weren't easily accessible. Due to my hectic life to balance family's needs and my career, after getting photos developed or taken videos, I barely had any time to get back and look at them! Now that they are digitized, I have been so happy discovering those precious moments when my children were younger! Most of the photos I wasn't even aware I had captured. Now, I am extremely happy getting the chance to revisit them anytime! I am also in the process of writing our family's story. Many people in those photos have long departed and there is no way for our children to know who they are by just looking at those photos. It's a long process, however it's all worth making time to write few words to add brief explanation. We did in house all the digitization with professional scanners.
