The Bay Companies provides full-service civil engineering and surveying for land development projects, including: residential, commercial, multi-family, age-targeted communities, traditional neighborhood designs, and apartments, among others. Our staff has working knowledge of most of the localities in Virginia, with projects dating back to the mid... -1980's. Our staff is well-versed in taking projects from the inception, through the rezoning and construction plan approval processes, and through the construction phase. Our design staff is comprised entirely of engineers with a minimum of a BS in engineering and every project is overseen by a licensed engineer. Our rapport with review agencies is unsurpassed, as we try to not take a confrontational approach, however, we clearly represent our clients interests to the fullest extent. Our firm is managed by the owner, and all projects are overseen in a similar manor.
