Who is Baxter Karate Dojo

The Baxter Karate-Do, Inc. has been open since 1988. We are a member of the Ryukyu Bujutsu Kenyu Doyukai-USA/Okinawan Martial Arts Research Federation-USA, under Shihan Toshihiro Oshiro. The school is affectionately referred to as the Dojo by the students. The Baxter Dojo offers a program of study in Okinawan Karate and Okinawan Weapons. However, due to the vast experience of Sensei Baxter, students are given a very rich exposure to the Martial Arts. Specifically, they learn Shima-Ha Shorin-Ryu Karate and Yamanni Chinen-Ryu Bojutsu; but the diversity of the curriculum allows students to practice other styles of Karate, including the sport of Karate, Weapons, and Jujutsu as taught by Sensei Baxter.Read More
