My name is Rayce Kendrick and I deliberately distanced myself from doing any k... ind of business consulting for the longest time. It was my feeling that if I hadnt previously run a successful company than why should anything I say carry any weight whatsoever. Plus it sounded a heck of a lot more thrilling to discover a new market by introducing some kind of game-changing business myself. With that I was off. Over the next two summers I had a couple projects to go along with school and my day job. One was a reality show centered around the tractor pulling team that my buddies and I pulled under. Big Nasty Pulling Team was a lot of fun but it was difficult to get everybody together with consistency after pulling season and it faded out of the picture. The following summer I decided Id do something a little more in line with the kind of difference I wanted to make on the world. This spurred the creation of Foundations of Success School. I organized a four hour long seminar aimed at providing students with relevant information taught by people whod had real success in the area of life they spoke on. The content was great! The turnout, dismal. And it failed to make it into schools as a program. I finally realized that I was learning a lot of business skills and developing strong characteristics through my projects, reading, and day job as a retail manager, but was lacking a real skillset to apply these things to. I didnt think I wanted to run a service company because most of my ideas were so abstract that there wasnt really a system to being good at them.
