About Battery Builders
Battery Builders Inc. has been in the battery business since 1950. The company was founded by Karel E. Hanslik and continues to be owned and operated by the family. Battery Builders Inc. began operations in a 2500 square foot plant manufacturing automotive battery plates which were sold to other companies for assembly into the finished product. In 1955, the company doubled the size of its facility and commenced the manufacture of complete automotive type batteries. In 1963, the company manufactured its first industrial battery. The transaction from automotive units to industrial units continued and was completed in 1966. The plant was relocated to its current location in 1971 and has subsequently expanded from an original 20,000 building to its current 90,000 square feet of manufacturing capacity.
