In 2004, Basic Gateway expanded its operation into distributing network performance management solutions by becoming the Exclusive Distributor for South Africa-based innovator, Opteq Systems. The product offerings from Opteq offers its' customers a range of solutions from network, bandwidth, security and performance management. By 2005, we expanded... to include endpoint security solutions by representing award winning anti-virus solutions from NOD32 (later rebranded to ESET) and Basic Gateway has been its Exclusive Country Distributor since 2006. In 2007, continuing its desire to grow in the wireless infrastructure sector, Basic Gateway was appointed as the Sole Importer and Distributor for Russian-based wireless manufacturer, InfiNet Wireless. It has since, grown the unknown brand to becoming possibly the number 1 wireless brand in Malaysia in 2011. In 2010, Basic Gateway expanded its wireless product distribution into Singapore, Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia. In 2012, Basic Gateway has been appointed as the Autelan telco-grade WIFI equipment distributor for Malaysia. Today, Basic Gateway has two clear lines of businesses - 1. Network Security - provides end-to-end digital security solutions such as anti-virus, anti-malware, firewall, intrusion detection and prevention systems, threat management systems, date leakage prevention and total endpoint solutions and 2.
