In its first 10 years it handled light commercial and residential glass repair jobs. In 1985 the company was sold and taken over by the current owners Paul Hayes and Mike Hayes. Along with the guidance of the original office manager, the Hayes brothers quickly expanded into the commercial market. Within 3 years the company had grown from 1-2 instal... lers to approximately 6-8. After 5 years Barton Glass had to change locations to the current facility, to help accommodate their growth. Along with this move came the decision to focus strictly on the construction sector, and step back from the residential market. The next phase in their expansion plan was to acquire another facility, to fabricate all framing in house for the commercial projects. Today, Barton Glass is Hamilton's largest glazing contractor. With an installation team that can reach up to 30 installers at peak times. All tradesmen are fully trained and certified union glaziers, from local 1795 of the IBPAT. The office staff has grown to include Chief Estimator Ron Kempf, Project Coordinators John Cousins, Conner Hayes, and Eugene Lauzon. Along with our dependable installers Barton Glass has assembled one of the most reliable, efficient and trustworthy teams in our industry.
