Peter Barton - A Vermont native who comes from a background in law enforcement with a specialization in investigations. He joined the Vermont State Police in 1959 after receiving an honorable discharge from the U S Navy. He was selected as one of the first investigators for the newly formed BCI unit and appointed the Chief Investigator in the Vermont Attorney Generals office and spent ten years conducting special investigations for that unit. He also worked as the Investigator for the Bennington County States Attorney before becoming Chief of Police for the Town of Bennington VT. He was a Deputy Sheriff and is currently a VT Constable. His work in the private sector included five years as Security Director at the Mount Snow resort and ski area before establishing his own business: Barton Agency.
