Bartman Plumbing Ltd is a Toronto-based family owned and operated business that began in 1979. The company was started by Alex Bartman who carved out a name for Bartman Plumbing Ltd within the industry. Michael Bartman, President, is from a family of plumbers. He joined Bartman Plumbing in 1995. In 1998, he took over for his father Alex Bartman and... was appointed President of Bartman Plumbing Ltd. As a high school honour student, Michael decided to be an entrepreneur and skilled technical tradesman. He began a plumbing apprenticeship in 1990, working outside the family business to learn the trade. Michael completed his Masters Plumbing License Permit in 1998. Since that time, the company has grown from 2 service trucks to 8 service trucks serving the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and surrounding areas. In this time of growth, Bartman Plumbing Ltd has extended its services to more than just plumbing. We now offer extensive services in drain cleaning including pressure washing and in all areas of heating, pump repairs and installations. Bartman Plumbing Ltd also provides the servicing and new installations of furnaces and boilers. In 2008 Bartman Plumbing Ltd became certified OWWA backflow installers and testers. The third generation of Bartman plumbers is Cyle Bartman, Michael's son. Cyle started his apprenticeship in 2008 and became a certified backflow technician in 2009.
