Our primary objective is to arrest the dilution of Barbadian culture in the UK and thereafter build platforms to enable all generations to retain and showcase our national identity and traditions. We must re-engage with all generations and encourage them to come together, particularly with the younger members and show that Barbados and Barbadians h... ave things of which they can be justly proud to retain. We should not allow our culture, identity, and traditions to be lost because we are happy in the status quo of our present environment. As second-generation Barbadians living in the diaspora, we feel strongly that the values of life which were taught and instilled in us back home are indelibly etched in our need to be true Barbadians wherever we reside. We truly appreciate the magnitude of the benefits and groundings derived from growing up in Barbados.
