It is, as well, the exclusive distributor of Takubomatic Edging Machines, Morel Eye Wear, Henry Jullien, and Coopervision Soft contact... lenses, in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, and Bahrain. In 2002, Barakat Optical became the supplier of Siemens Hearing Aids to SEHA, Abu Dhabi, and has been the accredited supplier for the Abu Dhabi run hospitals ever since. Barakat Optical is the only optical chain in the UAE that can deliver single vision lenses within 30 minutes. This express service has won Barakat Optical the prestigous award of Retail Me in 2008, for Best Customer Service Initiative of the year. In 2009, Barakat Optical won the Best Service Performance Outlet award granted by Dubai Economic Department. In 2011, Barakat Optical was appointed as RTA Trusted Agent.
