Bannon Handcrafted Log Homes & Timberframes has been in business for over 20 years. Our craftsmanship has been part of well over 100 projects across Canada. Most of Bannons homes are located in Ontario as close as rural Stratford and as far north as the Timmons area. Several of our log structures are situated close to lakes and cottage country. The... owner, Dan Bannon, started his training to build at the Allan Mackie Scholl of Log Building in Prince George, BC during the winter of 1983, where students came from all over the world. Dan continued to apprentice with WPM Hand Crafted Log Homes in Spruce Grove AB, where most of their homes were shipped to Japan. Moving home to Ontario in the spring of 1988, Dan continued to build from his yard in Burford (just outside of Brantford). In 1996 Bannon log homes moved the business to rural Stratford where we are located today. Bannon Log Homes builds Scandinavian scribe fit round log, square log with dovetail corners and timber frame homes, ranging in size from 100 to 6000 square feet. Your personal design is fine tuned by our architect to accommodate log lengths and building approval. Our specialty is the log & timber frame structure. We can help direct you to the other qualified contractors and sub-trades to assist in the completion of your home. All our homes are custom built to your specifications. We have several floor plans to view to assist you in your design.
