Established in 2013. Our business specializes in Powder Coating, which is the process of applying non-toxic powder to metal items by using an electrostatic spray gun. Powder coating is a popular alternative to painting, and provides an even better looking finish when done with no runs. Not to mention the fact that it even provides a more durable pr... otective-finish than paint can, protecting your product for a much longer time, eventually saving you money!! Being sprayed through an electrostatic spray gun, the powder then sticks to the metal, which is first grounded. Once the pieces are entirely coated, we move them into a large-capacity oven and cure (bake) them for about 25 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Once the pieces are finished curing, we remove them from the oven and allow them to cool so the coating can settle. Finally, after they are cool enough to touch, we give all of our finished work a quality-check to make sure we are happy with the finished product before having the customer pick it up. BAM Powder Coating is a family-owned and operated business created by Bristol resident, Brett Mancieri. We opened in the spring of 2013, originally working out of JRA Powder Coating until our current location was ready to make the switch over.
