BAM Foundation

BAM Foundation, Inc. is a creation of co-founders Alycia Halle and Heidi Cavalho. Their vision is to be able to assist and help neighbors in the Southcoast area and their families who are dealing with cancer. As one of the co-founders experienced firsthand the grueling treatments, doctors appointments, surgeries and the effects the entire disease h... as on a family, and while her friends watched and supported her, the appreciation of her success and a goal to both work toward and look forward to was developing. A year after Alycia completed her cancer treatments, she joined forces with her long-time friend, Heidi, to develop BAM Foundation, Inc. into a 501c3 nonprofit organization. We are working hard to raise money to help local families fund often forgotten expenses cancer treatment can bring, such as childcare, parking fees, gasoline, groceries, living expensesand so much more. We want to help provide a sense of normalcy and lessen the burden of out-of-pocket expenses in order for the patients to focus on feeling better.
