Our tradition began in 1990 when our General Manager James Ballendine, a former veteran of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, incorporated Ballendine and Associates Ltd. and secured a Private Investigation agency license through the Alberta Solicitor General. While serving with the RCMP drug enforcement branch, Mr. Ballendine and his associates were involved in several long term and short term undercover operations and comprehensive criminal investigations across Canada and in the United States of America jointly with the United States Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA). While serving, he and his associates received Commendations from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the United States Department of Justice for outstanding co-ordination, comprehensive investigation, infiltration and apprehension of many high profile organized crime figures from across both countries. For over 35 years, Mr. Ballendine has worked with and maintained a global network of professional associates and resources that have proven invaluable in the operation of our business.
