Baliyo Nepal is a not-for-profit initiative and is: An innovative concept to create a national movement against malnutrition. Our aim is to develop a wide range of programs instigating behavior change in food consumption habits of people to build a mighty Nepal...a Baliyo Nepal. Special emphasis will be on lower income consumers in the following groups: 1. Drive the entire nation to join a movement for better nutrition: BNNIs national campaign will attempt to engage the entire nation towards improving Nepals food habits. The movement will emphasize on multiplying win-win partnerships between the government, civil society, the private sector, and the food industry. We will create an aspirational brand driven by emotional communication and on-the-ground activations. Its logo will be instantly recognizable, coveted and certify high-nutritional standards. More and more, consumers will look for products with better nutrition. BNNI will work with food companies to fortify staples, highly-consumed products and complementary food. Our efforts will encourage them to strive for higher nutritional guidelines.
