Balanced Nutrition was founded in 2013 with a goal to provide reliable nutrition information and counseling to improve physical health while repairing or maintaining a relationship with food. In 2016 Balanced Nutrition grew into Balanced Nutrition and Yoga in order to offer its clients and the community a place to practice mindfulness and body awar... eness-two concepts that have been at the core of the Balanced philosophy since its conception. When individuals learn to nourish their bodies, honor their intuition, and live without judgment or shame around food, weight or shape, true physical health becomes attainable. Balanced offers individual and group nutrition counseling for general nutrition and health management, eating disorders, sports nutrition, diabetes and more. We accept many major insurance plans including Independence Blue Cross and Blue Cross Blue Shield. We also offer individual and group yoga classes ranging from gentle and restorative to more physical vinyasa practices. Each class is designed and modified to be acceptable for all experience levels. Classes are small, allowing for individual attention from instructors with assistance as desired. Balanced Nutrition and Yoga is committed to its mission of providing strength-based, non-judgmental and flexible approaches to nutrition and yoga.
