Started in 1983 by Ron Baird in Springfield, Missouri, John Lightner joined him in 1984 to help create the locally owned but nationally recognized law firm that is Baird Lightner Millsap. Mark Millsap followe... d in 1992 bringing his family law expertise and in 2006 Doug Harpool joined bringing valuable government and insurance law experience. Over the past quarter century, our firm has continued to grow. We've grown our practice to fifteen attorneys and ten staff members. We've grown in our experience, our understanding and our ability to serve you in every aspect of your legal needs. We've grown in the face of changes in the world and changes in Springfield and the surrounding area. We've grown as professionals and members of the community.
