You will appreciate that planning such a programme is a mammoth logistical task. We will be working with other member practices of the Whitfield Primary Care Network in order to start immunisation of the most vulnerable groups as soon as we can. As yet we do not have a delivery date. We will contact those who are eligible as soon as we have confirmation of a delivery date. We are receiving enquiries re flu vaccinations for eligible groups under 65 years old. We, along with every other local surgery, are awaiting delivery of the vaccine. We have everything in place, and once we receive the vaccine we will start the programme as quickly as we can. The latest news is that the vaccines are to be delivered to us in late November. If you suffer with poor mobility please inform the reception team on booking your appointment and a mobility bay will be designated for you. Wear appropriate clothing with short sleeves underneath your coat. Bring an umbrella if the weather requires it. We are already planning the flu vaccination campaign for this Autumn.
