Backyard Creations is proud of its legacy as a builder of gunite swimming pools. Backyard Creations began years before the company was actually founded. In fact, the seeds that came to fruition with the founding of the company in 1991 were planted even before the owner began his career in the pool industry in 1971. The truth is, when Stephen Braun was working as a teenage lifeguard, he knew even then that he wanted to build premier in-ground swimming pools.
