Backfeed

Backfeed was founded in January 2015 by Matan Field (founder of LaZooz.org) and Primavera De Filippi (CNRS/Harvard). During the last year, we have finalized the development of our core technology (the Backfeed protocol); implemented a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) in form of our decentralized Magazine, integrated our technology in a Chrome extension... over Slack; delivered the first prototype for a massive multi-player chess game as a proof of concept and established partnerships and collaboration opportunities with strategic partners and like-minded individuals. Backfeed is currently made up of an international team of about a dozen people (mainly from Europe and Israel) focused on building the foundational tools for decentralized collaborative organisations.
