About Back Door Tavern
Established in 1984. A beer bar and beer garden with over 100 bottled selections and 18 drafts, lots of tv's and great bartenders. Beers include domestic favorites like Miller Lite, Old Style, Lagunitas, PBR and many more. Craft and local selections include Yee-Haw, Mill Creek, Hexagon, Fanatic and Highland. Pool table, darts and horseshoes. Ted Cook was called by the nickname "Joe Toddy." He opened Toddy's Liquor Store and Back Door Tavern at the then city limits on what is known as Thunder Road. Toddy's Liquor Store moved to 4821 Kingston Pike in 2007. The beer bar remains at 4951 and is now known simply as the Back Door Tavern or BDT.Explore more
