Our founder, Dave Schlecht, built AZP | Multifamily from his home garage with only a few products. In only three years, the company was ready to move to a five-thousand square foot warehouse in Glendale, AZ. It was clear that a commitment to our customers and the community we work in was something missing from the industry. The AZP | Multifamily te... am was serving customers in a way unknown to the rest of the industry. In 1985, in a day before everyone had access to the internet, AZP | Multifamily published our first catalog. Development of our catalog came from our commitment to make supply management easier for our customers and give us a way to serve them better. It took us a year to get it right, but our second catalog published in 1996 was a tremendous success for our customers and our team. As a regional supplier to the MRO industry, we committed ourselves to serving our customers with same-day delivery in every community we serve. We knew that to bring same day service; we would need to have a local warehouse in major metropolitan areas and in 1985 we opened our second warehouse in Tucson, AZ.
