About aXseum
In June 2002, aXseum Solutions, LLC acquired CIS Federal, Inc. (formerly known as Cherokee Information Services). Mr. Michael I. Hodges founded CIS in 1990 as a Native American owned company. In 1995 the company was accepted into the U.S. Small Business Administrations 8(a) Small Disadvantaged Business Program. CIS graduated from the 8(a) program in 2004 and in 2006 was recognized as the SBA National 8(a) Graduate of the Year. CIS has received other accolades to include being inducted into the Inc. 500 Hall of Fame in 2005, an honor bestowed on privately held companies that have been named to the Inc. 500 Hall of Fame for at least five years. In addition, Deloitte and Touche selected CIS to be on their list of the fastest 500 growing technology companies seven years in a row. In 2013, Mr. Hodges retired and sold CIS Federal, Inc. to the corporate executive team who later sold to aXseum Solutions. The company started doing business under the name aXseum, Inc. in 2017.Explore more
