The Now - "The Tradition Continues": In April of 2016, the bakery and time-honored recipes were sold to Phil Wenzel, who will serve as president and executive pastry chef, and Michael Violi, a suc... cessful local businessman with several local business ventures. Phil received the Certified Culinarian designation in 2008 from the American Culinary Federation and is a graduate of culinary arts programs from Purdue University and The University of Notre Dame. Immediately prior to investing in Aunt Beth's Cookies, Phil was Executive Chef at Fatima House and at Holy Cross in South Bend, IN. Executive Chef Wenzel immediately began making changes to grow the business. New equipment has been installed and marketing efforts have been expanded.
