Audible Images

In 1993, my day job was as a receptionist and office-boy at a medical software firm in Emeryville, CA. I'd graduated with a degree in English Literature from the University of California at Berkeley, where I'd also studied fine art and music, including work at CNMAT with Dr. David Wessel in psychoacoustics. So by night I was a freelance recording e... ngineer working with local bands, trying to put some of that education to work. Through a friend-of-a-friend, I picked up a gig recording voice sessions for a kid's game at Stormfront Studios, and loved it. Over the next few years I made myself useful designing sounds, editing music, and learning the arcana of the period's game development. In 1997 I left Stormfront to found Audible Images.
