My name is Gary Wayne Parker, I want to PRAISE and THANK a place that has helped me out GREATLY over the past 2 years. Here is how I found out about ATLANTIC PROTHETICS & ORTHOTICS. A little over 2 years ago I was hit while out riding my motorcycle, after being in the hospital for a long time, I was informed that I was going to lose my right leg ab... ove my knee and was going to need to go get fitted for a prosthetic. I was sent to Chapel Hill, NC to a place called ATLANTIC PROSTHETICS & ORTHOTICS. Knowing nothing about the place but what I have read and what I was told, I gave it a try. It is almost 2 hours from my house to drive to this facility. When I arrived I went in not knowing what to expect and a little nervous. As soon as I arrived in the office I was greeted with smiles and helpful staff, I knew from then on they were there to help me get better. I ended up going back and forth to Chapel Hill to try on legs, get new tops, adjust the knee and to try to find the right fit for me. They kept me informed and made sure that I understood everything and anything that was happening. After a couple of trips, I was finally fitted for the perfect knee and leg for me. To this day this company has been nothing but AMAZING to me and has made sure to keep me informed of anything that can help me with the process. So, to anyone that is looking for a new leg, knee or like me and has an unfortunate accident and has no choice but to get a PROSTHETIC, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND driving to CHAPEL HILL to go to ATLANTIC PROSTHETICS & ORTHOTICS no matter how far the drive is this place will treat you with respect and make you feel comfortable. Trust me they will go out their way to make sure you get the best fit for you. THANK YOU AGAIN for all that you have done for me. I am now able to get out and play with my grandkids, able to go back to work, able to drive my vehicle and I can do activities that I maybe could have never done again if I had not visited this office.Read More
