His law practice is focused on serving individuals and businesses in the Texas alcoholic beverage industry: brewers, distributors, and retailers - in particular those involved in brewing, distributing and selling craft beer. Prior to becoming an attorney, Angel worked in the environmental regulat... ory field at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) for 8 years and, most recently, in the Information Technology (IT) sector for 12 years. He received his law degree from St. Mary's University School of Law (J.D., 2013) and his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University (B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, 1989). In his law practice, Angel provides his clients with not only competent and effective counsel, but also with exceptional service and value. His areas of focus are: TABC licensing, TABC defense, administrative hearings and appeals, LLC formation and governance, distribution contracts, business disputes and trademarks. Angel represented Cuvee Coffee, a wine and beer retailer in Austin, Texas, in their dispute with TABC, over Cuvee's use of the Crowler machine.
