ASTEC company was established in 1993. Our mission is to realize individual IT projects for large customers. A significant part of our services is based on onshore/offshore-outsourcing model. In the first years of our business activity we were involved in Smalltalk technology projects. ASTEC team has been working on a number of projects in object o... riented technologies such as JAVA, C++ and .NET. Since 1998 we have also been realizing Geographic Information System projects based on the GE Smallworld technology. We offer services mainly to customers in Germany, Switzerland, France, Great Britain and even in the USA. In 2004 we broadened the scope of our activity and started research and development projects financed by the European Union and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. We carry out the research projects with the participation of European universities, international consortia and individual scientific units. At the end of 2006 we implemented quality information system and received ISO 9001:2000 certificate. In the same year ASTEC became GE Energy Authorized Partner in the field of GE Smallworld GIS projects. At present ASTEC is a growing enterprise with its 50 employees. We pursue a further development strategy in our primary operation areas: realization of GIS services in cooperation with GE Energy, carrying out IT solutions in mainstream technologies, research activities in the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), implementation of solutions for document management and archive.
