ASRus, LLC, was formed in 2006 to provide hydrogeological and reuse related professional services to municipal and industrial clients in Florida. The firm was founded by its Chief Executive Officer Mark B. McNeal, P.G., who has 23 years of experience related to groundwater and reuse projects in Florida. The president of the firm is Tailyn McNeal, w... ho performs administrative and business functions for the company and assists with project related activities as necessary. The firm is small, with only these two employees, which allows us to work closely with larger consulting firms to provide oversight and expertise in projects such as Aquifer Storage Recovery (ASR), deep injection wells, and water supply development and permitting. After three years in existence, ASRus has provided services on more than 85 projects with approximately 30 municipal, industrial, and private clients throughout peninsular and panhandle Florida. Mr. McNeal gives multiple presentations each year, and has been an invited speaker at all seven ASR conferences held in Florida sponsored by the American Groundwater Trust. He is also well known in the reuse arena, where he has been an invited speaker for each of the initial four bi-annual reuse seminars sponsored by the Florida Water Environment Association (FWEA) reuse committee, of which Mr. McNeal has been an active participant for several years. It is through presentations such as these that Mr. McNeal and ASRus have become nationally recognized leaders in ASR and reuse, particularly as the two technologies can be integrated to expand and optimize reuse opportunities. ASRus is also an active member of the WateReuse Association, and its Florida section WateReuse Florida.
