Our independent projects at Aspire Street allow us to put our creativity where our heart is. Music videos are one of our great loves. We make them stand out by combining visually striking images with visually elegant storytelling. With our award-winning research skills, we've produced and directed documentaries in the US and Europe. Guided by ethic... s of accuracy and integrity, Aspire Street uses in-depth interviewing and journalistic production techniques that get to the heart of the story, so that viewers understand the real effects on individuals and society. Inspiring children to dream and achieve their dreams is one of the core values with our book projects. Aspire Street's MAC & Holly have teamed up on several children's books that feature Holly's gentle and imaginative watercolor art and Michael's simple but thoughtful words. In our music projects, Aspire Street's Michael Angelo Colgan got together with Country artist Jim 'JP' Pirinelli to create a series of songs that speak to the heart and soul of the American experience. Recording at GCR studios in Buffalo NY, Michael and JP have crafted music that honor the extraordinary lives and loves of ordinary people. Michael's professional writing credentials have also expanded to screenplays. In 2019, placed in the Top 10% of scripts in the Academy Nicholl Fellowship. It has won the StoryPros 1st Place Drama Award as well as Best Screenplay at the Sunscreen Film Festival West in Los Angeles.
