The Asian Cafe is an independent, owner-operated restaurant, featuring the finest in Japanese cuisine. Specializing in beautifully served sushi, sashimi and hibachi, the Cafe offers fresh, made-to-order menu items available for dine-in or take-out. The menu consists of about one half grilled and cooked items like hibachi grilled beef, chicken and s... eafood and one half sushi, sashimi and chirashi. Sushi, sashimi and chirashi are served raw with rice and sauces, while the hibachi items are served with soup, rice and vegetables. Vegetarian options are available from both the sushi bar and hibachi grill. Seafood is delivered twice a week from a sushi-quality fish supplier in Maryland. In addition, Asian Cafe is a full service restaurant offering wine and beer on premises and featuring several uniquely Asian desserts. An experienced staff awaits your visit; Asian Cafe is a family enterprise. Owner Jason Huang and his staff, including his parents, have many years of experience in the food industry, having operated a restaurant in Orange for over 10 years. The Asian Cafe offers a pleasant atmosphere for dining. Booths and tables feature dark woods with hiragana character printed upholstery. The Sushi Bar is decorated in Japanese style, and the Japanese window dressings and wall decor complete the setting. Beautiful views of Lake Anna are available from the dining room and from the patio talbes where the friendly staff serves, weather permitting. Asian Cafe is conveniently located in the new Lake Anna Plaza building on New Bridge Road (Route 208) near the bridge connecting Louisa and Spotsylvania Counties.
