Artemiz Ltd offers consulting and counselling services for individuals and organisations. Artemiz Ltd is owned and operated by husband and wife team: Dr Suzette Major and Steve Clarke. Suzette offers consulting services for those operating within the arts and creative sectors. She is widely published and speaks internationally on arts management, c... reative industries and arts marketing. Suzette is also the cofounder and company director of ArtsBiz Ltd, a company that offers workshops and one-on-one mentoring for artists interested in establishing a career in the creative industries. Suzette is currently the General Manager of MAINZ - the Music Audio Institute of New Zealand. Prior to this arts management role, she headed the arts and design school, ideaschool at EIT in Hawkes Bay. Suzette has held a range of academic appointments including a senior lectureship with the Department of Screen & Media Studies, University of Waikato, and teaching fellowships with Victoria University in Wellington and Deakin University in Melbourne. With a background in management, Suzette is interested in the relationship, connections and tensions between commerce and culture, as well as career management and development in the arts. As both an academic and businesswoman, Suzette is passionate about the arts, and assisting creative practitioners to further their creative pursuits. Steve has worked with a diverse range of people over the past 20 years, primarily in support and caregiving roles. In 2013, Steve completed training as a counsellor majoring in psychotherapy at EIT in Hawkes Bay. Steve is a provisional member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (NZAC).
