A: AWBF is offering a matching grant to open AWB Chapters. If you are accepted in the program, you qualify to receive the grant. The cost of the Business Licensing Agreement is $6,000, so your cost, after the grant would be $3,000. Each additional co-op member's training is also $3,000. A: No, if you opt to come to Florida, you will pay your own expenses for airfare, hotel, meals and transportation for 7 days, or as long as you choose to stay. You other option is to pay for your trainer to come to your area. Expenses will vary from trainer to trainer, but most run around $1,000. Q: What if the artist or artists decide not to continue to offer MT services? A: Notify AWBF in writing 30 days prior of your intent to leave the program. Your obligation will end on your exit date. If you belong to a chapter co-op, the other members will continue to share the $100 per month, plus $25.00 each additional artist. If the entire chapter closes, obligation to pay the BLA fee ends on the exit date of the last member. All program participant's sign a non-compete, non-disclose agreement. Q: How long does the application process and training take? A: That is entirely up to you. If you send in your samples and your character reference letters with you application, you can know within 48 hours if you have been accepted into the program. Once we receive your BLA fee, you will receive a link to the curriculum. You will complete the course at your own pace. No one fails the course.
