ARMAL was established in March 1993 and was originally capitalized, in March, 1993, with 10,000,000 Saudi Riyals (approximately $2.5 Millions). At the present time, we have 70 employees and our sales staff is comprised of individuals with minimum credentials of a Bachelor degree in pharmacology and a minimum three years selling experience in pharma... ceutical industry. Advising the company is a consultant pharmacist with the Saudi government. Central to ARMAL'S strategy is the belief that the Arabian Gulf region represents a significant potential market for top-quality pharmaceutical and other health related products. As a result, we have established good grounds for our GNC stores in all major cities in Saudi Arabia. We are also constructing more GNC stores in Kuwait, U.A.E, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and Lebanon, with plans for a minimum of 120 stores over the coming two years. We have 52 stores in Saudi Arabia, 7 in United Arab Emirates, 6 in Lebanon, 4 in Qatar, 3 in Bahrain, 1 in Oman and 5 in Kuwait. We are actively developing the other countries as well, and all indications point to a ready market for nutritional, sports and diet products. Our stores are trading at extremely high levels, in the top percentile of GNC stores worldwide. We are developing a wholesale business as well, distributing products to health and sports clubs, pharmacies, clinics and other retail outlets.
