Ark-La-Tex Underwriters was founded in December 1985 as a property and casualty surplus lines broker representing one carrier with one line of coverage. Since that time, we have grown to represent many carriers in the four state region of Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas and Mississippi with a full compliment of commercial lines coverages available to ou... r producing agents. We represent outstanding property/casualty insurance companies with the capability of binding authority and policy writing authority for many of them. Our goal is to provide enhanced products at fair market value to the independent insurance agents who are our valued clients. These producing agents are a professional group of commercial lines, retail producers who know their clients and perform front-line underwriting. This is critical to the profit side of the equation for all entities. Ark-La-Tex Underwriters has a stable, skilled group of underwriters and staff at our three locations - Shreveport, LA, Lafayette, LA and Frisco, TX - motivated to provide quality, friendly service to our producers.
