Arden Lea was founded in 1974 as a family run independent company, a position we have fiercely maintained. Our reputation over the years has been built on our commitment to maintain high standards of installation, together with full technical back-up. Our reputation has been further enhanced by using all our own labour and plant which we maintain i... n our purpose built workshops, where we also fabricate custom-made pump sets. Our core activity is in golf course irrigation. In our early years we carried out work at Royal Birkdale Golf Club, (one of the Open Championship courses), Formby Golf Club and Lytham Green Drive Golf Club, all of which are used for final Open qualifying. In Ireland, we were nominated for installations at Ballybunion and Killarney. More recently we completed work at the prestigious Wentworth Golf Club where we were the main irrigation contractors on the West, South and East courses. All have had new irrigation to greens, approaches, tees and double row fairways. We have recently completed major irrigation contracts at Tralee and Doonbeg on the West Coast of Ireland, a new Jack Nicklaus course at Machynys Peninsula, and a development at Bridgedown Golf Club for Severiano Ballesteros.Read More
