About Arcadia Academy
My name is Katherine, and I am the owner of the Arcadia Academy. I lived in Utah until I was 16, then my family moved to Arcadia to buy the Academy. When we first arrived at the Academy only one bathroom out off the 47 worked and the buildings were in horrible shape. I spend the next 9 years working with my family to help restore the buildings, clean up the grounds. During this time I graduated from Arcadia Valley High School in 2001, got an associate degree from Mineral Area College in business, and a bachelors degree from UMSL in Communications. I married in 2005, had a baby in 2006, moved to St. Louis in 2007, had two more children while in St. Louis working full time. When the opportunity came to buy a beautiful home in the Legends Golf Club community, we passed it up because we felt the call from the Academy.
