About Aquapoolco
Doug Merrell is the owner and operator of AquaPoolCo, and he has been in the swimming pool industry for 11 years. He started working for Sundance pool service and Repair, and worked for them for 4 years as pool cleaner, and repair technician. When he married his wife Amy he decided to start his own company, and Clear Pools Cleaning and Repair started in October 1998. Doug graduated from UAT (University of Advancing Technology) with a software engineering degree in 2001, and almost switched lines of work. He decided to keep the pool business and has loved that decision ever since. In July 2004 Clear Pools Changed their name to AquaPoolCo. to differentiate from many pool companies with the words Clear and pools in their name. Bridgette Blake is the secretary and has been working for AquaPoolCo. since January 2005. She has many great qualities, and is a professional at customer relations and routing service calls.
