AEI is more than just a business; we are an organization invested in developing the green economy. We envision green jobs being a pathway provide good paying jobs in our community and to conserve resources, while maintaining the health of our planet and its inhabitants by reducing our carbon footprint. We began with a goal to use our numerous years... of training to support our families, invest in our communities by installing energy efficient and accessible technologies, with a strong commitment to educating the public about renewable energy products. AEI believes efficient and renewable energy can and should be accessible to everyone and together with our valued customers we are changing our environmental impact project by project, one community after another. Applied Energy Innovations (AEI) was founded in 2010 by five tradesmen who were victims of the recession and crash of commercial construction. We were committed to providing for our families in an uncertain economy, but knew we had knowledge and expertise to bring to bear for customers. Now led by one of the original founders, Dustin Denison, who is a pursued-after expert and speaker on renewable, and solar, we strive to keep to our vision of providing jobs and good, quality services to our region. AEI is proud to have been recognized by the City of Minneapolis and US Dept of Labor for our hiring practices. We also have worked with numerous non-profits to provide innovative and forward-thinking access to solar bulk-buy opportunities, as well as weatherization for low income families. Applied Energy Innovations wants to fundamentally change how energy is produced and consumed, to save our customers money and to preserve our natural environment.
