Since its inception, Applied CAD has merged several leading design service bureaus into a leading resource for electronic packaging needs. Input to the design process can be hand drawn schematics, netlist on floppy or CAE output such as Futurenet, Case, Orcad, Schema, Valid, PADS etc. Data can be accepted on 1/4 inch cartridge tape, 3.5 inch disks, modem or FTP. Output is 100% machine & human checked for correctness to original netlist, for spacing violations, line lengths, signal noise analysis, parallelism, controlled impedance and ECL rules. Final output plots are scanned by a qualified designer for completeness and correct detail. Output Formats are performed on one of our 12 Sun Workstations or 8 X86 PCs. Outputs can be generated for Cadence Allegro, PADS. or Zuken Racal CadStar and plotted on our Raster Graphics Color Electrostatic Plotter. Multiples of each system/periphery ensures full availability. Communication is with our designers. Dialog between engineers and CAD designers is encouraged to facilitate accuracy and expediency of concept. Communication can be via phone, Email, modem, FTP or sitting with the designer.
