The practice opened in August 2019 and focuses on the early detection and treatment of heart disease. It is designed to be the optimal medical practice that places your needs at the center of attention. Apollo Cardiology is an out-of-network practice. This means that we will be collecting a fee up front for our services, but this fee can be submitted to your insurance for reimbursement, depending on the nature of your plan. You can also use a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) for medical visits. My visit fees will be posted on this website, so you will never have to guess what you will be billed. Labs and medications normally covered by insurance will still be covered. Medicare patients will still be seen at Apollo Cardiology. Patients will directly contract with Dr. Twyman. Patients who have Medicare will be given a letter stating that Dr Twyman is opted out of Medicare. The practice will not bill Medicare for office visits. Patients may submit the office visit bill to their secondary/supplementary insurance for possible reimbursement. A signed release of information form will be necessary to transfer your medical records from the previous practice. Our team will help facilitate obtaining previous labs and medical records.
