ADAMS PAINT MANUFACTURING COMPANY was established in 1955 by M.L. (RED) ADAMS . Red Adams was a well respected commercial painting contractor in the Lubbock Texas area, before founding the paint manufacturing company. His two goals, make a high quality product, have excellent customer service. Red's two sons, Jerry and James Adams grew up working i... n the contracting business. As young men, they began working for Red in the paint manufacturing and retail paint sales business. The company was incorporated in 1970. Red Adams asked his sons to join him in ownership of the new corporation. Red managed the company until his retirement in 1984. He continued as a consultant until his passing in 2001.
