From its humble beginnings in a small workshop in the Emilia region of Italy, ANSA was founded on one man's love affair with Italian dream cars. Originally designing exhaust systems for the Ferrari racing scene, the small family business eventually expanded its European reach and range to cover the most sought after sports cars of the 1960s and 70s... . The early 1970s brought ANSA SPORT products to the U.S.through several established "foreign car parts" importers. Then hard-to-find parts for the growing import car population were welcomed by the import parts specialists and sports car enthusiasts of that time. Its early U.S. success prompted the Italian company to establish a distribution center in south Georgia, allowing ANSA products to be readily available for shipment to distributors nationwide. Customer needs eventually led to the company's introduction of its ANSA Replacement Exhaust line - and an expansion into other import makes and models. Today, in addition to its flagship ANSA SPORT product line, the company offers an extensive selection of replacement exhaust parts covering everything from Acura to Volkswagen - and virtually anything in between. With the sport compact trend of combining polished stainless steel exhaust systems with a more aggressive sound, the company introduced Silverline exhaust systems and universal mufflers and tips for the sport compact market. This was quickly followed in the early 2000s with the introduction of its performance exhaust systems for light diesel trucks. The company's expertise in performance exhaust allowed for the development of a high performance system for the niche Diesel Performance market - and the product quickly gained a following.
