She grew up a tomboy, preferrin... g to spend her time outdoors instead of playing with makeup. It wasnt until her early 20s that a friend invited her to get eyelash extensions together. She quickly realized that extensions were a great way to feel beautiful and boost her self confidence - without the hassle and maintenance of makeup. Soon, she fell in love with the ritual of going to get her lashes done, spending a relaxing hour taking care of herself and building a relationship with her lash artist. Anna saw that there was a shortage of qualified lash artists on the Connecticut shoreline and decided to pursue it as a career. She spent months studying the art of eyelash extensions, practicing on family and friends - and even her boyfriend! A local salon soon noticed Annas work and brought her in as a stylist. But in her heart, she knew she wanted to start her own business. In 2018, she founded Annabella Lashes and opened the doors of her Old Saybrook studio.
