Ann Healey Photography

A multi-award-winning photographer, Ann holds the distinction of Associate of the Royal Photographic Society (ARPS), this being awarded in September 2016. She gained her Artiste Federation Internationale de L'Art Photographique (AFIAP) accreditation in 2014, followed by the Excellence level (EFIAP) in the Spring of 2015 . In April 2014, Ann was awa... rded the Credit level of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain Award for Photographic Merit (CPAGB), gaining her Distinction of Photographic Alliance of Great Britain Award for Photographic Merit (DPAGB) in April 2017, along with the first level British Photographic Exhibition Crown award (BPE1*) in the same month. In November 2017, Ann achieved her BPE2*, the second level of the British Photographic Exhibition Crown Awards. Her images have featured in many International and National photographic exhibitions, as well as winning a number of National and International awards. Ann is immediate Past President of the Surrey Photographic Association and as a member of a well-established photographic society in Surrey, she has won numerous awards both within the Society and the Federation, and her photographs have been selected to represent the Society at both county and national level. Ann's website showcases the diversity of her work while her passion for photography, particularly the challenging macro world of insects, is widely recognised. From garden nature to far-off destinations and from landscapes to cityscapes, Ann's photographs reflect her interest in shapes, colours, textures and vibrancy. She is heavily influenced by beautiful imagery and specialises in capturing form, delicacy and detail.
