Ania Stempi Design

With experience in full scale, high-end remodels, Ania is an expert at creating beautiful spaces that are the perfect fit for the lifestyle and unique taste of each individual client, incorporating custom furnishings and personalized touches that make each home one of a kind. Ania Stempi began her interior design career in 1991 after graduating fro... m Parsons School of Design in New York. She also holds a degree in history and has several years of experience working in movie production. She credits this background with propensity to extensive research. Throughout the 90s Ms. Stempi worked with K-2 Design, an architectural firm in Fukuoka, Japan and David McMahon Architect in New York. These associations strengthened her skills in architectural design and detailing, as well as gave plenty of practice in addressing construction challenges on site. Ms. Stempi launched her own company in 2001. She completed remodeling and decorating projects as varied as Manhattan apartments, Brooklyn townhouses, a summer house in a beach community and corporate offices. One of the projects required putting together an extensive collection of antique and vintage political posters for a Wall Street firm. Ms. Stempi designs interiors that are eclectic, warm and comfortable with a clear focus on clients preferences and lifestyles. Her work provides thoughtful design solutions in an atmosphere of cooperation and confirmed budget boundaries. She has been involved in furniture design collaborating with well established producers and designers on highly customized, one of a kind pieces.
