Angels Mini Mart

In 2017 Angels Mini Mart was opened as a social enterprise by Bundaberg charity Angels Community Group. It was started to fund their charity work while providing low cost groceries for the community. Everyone is welcome to shop at Angels Mini Mart. There is no membership or need to provide financial details. By shopping with us you are giving back... to the community as the proceeds go directly to Angels Community Group. We are supported by local farms and bakeries who provide seconds and day old baked goods. We give all the fresh produce and baked goods away for free in our store and now online at check out. We cannot guarantee we will always have produce and baked goods as we rely on the farms and bakeries. Our aim is to combat food waste and provide low cost groceries to Bundaberg and surrounding towns. Our proceeds go back to supporting our community. Our stock is low cost, it is either close to its Best Before date or past. The food is still okay to consume. If stores like ours did not buy the discounted stock and sell it on, it would go to landfill. Saying that, we do not sell food that is past its Use By date.
