PLCs, our staff is committed to working in Professional Learning Communities schoo... l-wide. As a staff we will meet in weekly PLC meetings to discuss student learning, instructional practices and creating formative assessments. Although a singleton grade level staff we will collaborate on common practices school wide. 2. RTI- our staff is committed to implementing an effective RTI program that will support all learners at all levels. This will help students who need additional help and challenge students who are a grade level. 3. Collaborative Leadership- ACS has a leadership team that consists of a member from each department who meet monthly to discuss school-wide school improvement tasks, budgets, and effectiveness of programs in each department. Parents are welcome to participate the meetings are indicated on the monthly school calendar. 4. Instructional Core- Our school's core curriculum is based on implementation of national common core standards. We are proud to announce that our school has adopted the Fountas & Pinnel comprehensive reading program based on research-based practices and our math program we are implementing IREADY math program. 5. Safe School Committee- Our school has a school safety committee who meets monthly to discuss school safety across departments.
